Clever Core New Zealand has developed a design library for our customers, which contains floor plans that have been widely used over many years. With manufacturing capability that extends from single level, free standing homes through to multi-level attached housing configurations, our manufacturing process will be able to meet most residential requirements. When design for manufacture and assembly principles are applied, repeat manufacturing of homes can be done easily and at pace by reusing the machine code and shop drawings. The homes will still have the look and feel of a bespoke home due to our ability to change the elevational treatments with differing materials, colours and roof lines. This is ideal for retirement villas and group housing builders who are repeating standard plans.

To ensure that we meet building code within the plant and out on the assembly site we have established a simple and effective quality control and quality assurance system. We do percentage quality control checks on all wood cut, each wall frame, each midfloor and roof assembled. We also do quality assurance checks (physical checks with photographic evidence) on each structural aspect and significant parts of these structures. We are working very closely with Auckland Council Building Control to provide our quality control and quality assurance evidence within our plant and out on the assembly site. To do this efficiently and effectively all products can be identified via a barcode, which is printed onto each piece of machined timber as a unique identifier by the computer numerical control machine. Cameras are installed within the plant to take photographic evidence of checks done by our operators who also do physical checks via a check sheet.
